In an earlier email Derek Skinner mentioned that the Christian Heritage Party and the Canada Action Party have strong positions on monetary reform. I agree that these two fringe political parties do have ‘strong positions’ on monetary reform when compared to any of the mainstream political parties.

However, neither party’s strong position is strong enough, for neither the Christian Heritage Party nor the Canada Action Party advocate that the Parliament of Canada exclusively issue all (100%) of money without interest or usury for use as legal tender in Canada. Indeed, it is possible to do so. Ultimately, interest or usury on money must be abolished.

Interest or usury can be replaced with a simple service charge that must be created and put into circulation simultaneously when the money for any loan or mortgage is created. The service charge need only be an amount sufficient to pay for the administration costs. No longer will the creditor (bank) get two houses (for doing absolutely nothing but creating the money out of thin air based on the debtor’s signature on the promissory note) while the debtor gets one. This is absolutely immoral and the scam must be exposed and stopped.

And in another email Paul Grignon confirmed that Blair Longley, the leader of the Marijana Party is a supporter of monetary reform.

I have talked with Blair Longley, the leader of the Marijuana Party and it is my understanding that he is open to having the Parliament of Canada issue all (100%) interest-free or usuryfree money. I would wholeheartedly support the Marijuana Party’s position about monetary reform and in fact, I explored the possibility of creating an EDA for the Marijuana Party here in rural, eastern Ontario. However, people here are so mis-informed and dis-informed about the words ‘marijuana’ and ‘pot’ that it is almost impossible to rally support for the Marijuana Party even though their leader is fully supportive of the optimal monetary reform policy – as explained above.

In early January 2007, it was Blair Longley who actually advised me and other usuryfree creatives to go ahead and create a new political party that would advocate that the Parliament of Canada issue all (100%) interest-free or usuryfree money since the majority of the population is jaded about the words ‘marijuana’ and ‘pot’ and no other political party’s monetary policy was optimal.

Since my conversation with Blair Longley, myself and other usuryfree creatives here in eastern Ontario have been actively collecting the 250 names required by Elections Canada so that we can officially register the Serenity Party. The idea behind the name ‘Serenity’ is that we will have peace and serenity in Canada and eventually in this world when usury is abolished and we are all living a usuryfree lifestyle. And it is a word the has ‘feminine’ appeal – and that may be a very positive asset in the shifting political paradigm.

The Serenity Party’s priority platform will be that the Parliament of Canada exclusively issue all (100%) of money without interest or usury for use as legal tender in Canada. In the meantime, after becoming a duly registered federal political party, the Serenity Party intends to issue its own usuryfree currency which will be used to pay its volunteers workers for their investment of time and energy as political activists.

And The Serenity Party will build its own loyal database of usuryfree creatives who double as entrepreneurs with small to medium-sized businesses and/or home-based businesses who will agree to accept our 'Serenity' currency as partial payment for the purchase of products and/or services. We'll start and spread the idea of optimal monetary reform by the action of we-the-people creating and spending our own usuryfree currency and then the government can copy our model so that everyone in Canada can live in usuryfree heaven and let's do it in 2 oh oh 7.

Hopefully, there will be an quick awakening and egos will dissipate and empires will voluntarily dismantle and then a bunch of the so-called, fringe political parties will amalgamate and create the groundswell of political will that is needed to shift the paradigm and initiate the action needed to create a usuryfree lifestyle for everyone in Canada and eventually everyone on this planet. Let's create a grassroots political movement of monetary reform activists who are promoting the idea that Parliament of Canada has the right and the responsibility to issue all (100%) interest-free or usuryfree money.

I trust that in the not-too-distant future, the leadership within one of the mainstream political parties will awaken and adopt The Serenity Party's policy of having the Parliament of Canada create (100%) interest-free or usuryfree money for we-the-people of Canada. When this happens we will abandon The Serenity Party and encourage our members to support whatever mainstream political party that dares to support this monetary policy as a priority item.
